Indonesian Layer Cakes ( Kek Lapis)
Original Indonesian Layer Cakes is from Dutch. It was developed during colonial times in the Dutch East Indies where the Dutch ladies teached the local women to bake the cake using Dutch recipe with local ingredients. Till now, in Netherlands, they still serve layer cakes during tea break and also can be found in the bakery in Netherlands.
All the layer cakes are only made upon order. No added colour flavour or preservatives.
Always store the layer cakes in a box or a container. It can last in about a week in room temperature. After one week, store it in the fridge, it can last in about a month.
